Does Conserving Biodiversity Work to Reduce Poverty? A Knowledge Review

knowledge review cover

As a consultant to The Nature Conservancy (TNC), I co-authored a knowledge review of how conservation interventions worldwide can reduce poverty. The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) commissioned the knowledge review which I presented at the symposium “Linking Biodiversity Conservation and Poverty Reduction” at the Zoological Society of London, April 2010.

This review has been published in two formats:

1. As a standalone TNC publication

2. As a chapter in a report to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) “Linking Biodiversity Conservation and Poverty Alleviation: A State of Knowledge Review”
